Privacy Policy

Wake Up. It's Jeff. ("the App") is made by Big Fat Brain Inc. I take your privacy seriously, probably more seriously than I take most things, honestly. This policy explains what data I collect (not much), what I do with it (even less), and your rights.
What I Collect
Data stored on your device only
- Your alarm settings (times, days, sound preferences)
- Playback history (so I don't repeat myself)
- Your energy and mood preferences
This data lives on your iPhone and is not transmitted to my servers.
Data I may receive
- Email address: only if you sign up for launch notifications on my website. Used solely to notify you about the app launch. I will never sell or share it.
- Subscription status: managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I receive anonymized transaction data from Apple to verify your subscription. I do not see your Apple ID, payment method, or billing details.
- Crash and performance data: anonymized diagnostics provided by Apple if you opt in through your iPhone's settings. I use this to fix bugs.
What I Don't Collect
- I do not collect your location
- I do not access your contacts, photos, or microphone
- I do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs
- I do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone
- I do not use AI to profile you (I don't use AI at all. That's kind of my whole thing.)
Content Delivery
The App may download audio content from my CDN (content delivery network) to provide you with fresh clips. These requests are standard HTTPS downloads. I log standard server metrics (request counts, file sizes, error rates) but do not track individual users or devices through this process.
Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store: handles all purchases and subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare: serves my website and CDN content. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require an account and stores data locally on the device.
Your Rights
You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the App from your device. If you signed up for email notifications, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting me.
Changes to This Policy
If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here with an updated date. For significant changes, I'll let you know in the App.
